Drawing an Ice Cream Treat Using Affinity Photo

Drawing these ice cream treats was easier said than done. I used a glass texture for the container. I wasn't too happy with the first art so I created the second art. The third one is an animated one for the sake of an animation. 

This one looks more like a standard drawing with some duplicated images. I wasn't too aware of the power of Layer Effects at this point. 

My second art is based on trying another approach. The strawberries are partially buried in the ice cream. This time, I played more with the Layer Effects, using Bevel/Emboss and 3D. Now, the chocolate looks better. 

I created this animation in order to learn more about making animated GIFs. As I said, hopefully Affinity Photo will release a newer version, capable of making animated GIFs.
